Soil Position

Prefers to be mass planted in a sunny position, in well drained soil. They are extremely hardy and can handle most conditions, but will benefit from protection from the wind.

Great for pots and cut flowers. Produces wonderful rich colors with very little maintenance.

Cultivation
|
To kick start the growing process, soak the bulbs in water for about 12 hours before planting. Overwatering will rot bulbs. Plant up to double the depth in warm climates.
