Soil Position
|
Colchicum prefer a full sun to part shade position in a well drained moist soil, but can flower from a dry bulb on a well lit window ledge or table.

Application
|
A hardy bulb producing masses of large goblet shaped lilac rose flowers. Can flower inside with no soil or water, but must be planted immediately after flowering. Ideal for pots, garden beds and containers.

Cultivation
|
Prepare your soil by digging well rotted manure and complete fertiliser a few weeks prior to planting your bulbs. Top dress with a complete fertiliser in Spring. Keep soil moist whilst actively growing to ensure multiplication.
