Plant bulb in a pot large enough to allow a minimum of 3-4 cm of soil around the bulb. The nose of the bulb protruding from the top of the pot. Approximately a 1/3rd of the bulb should be above the soil surface. Over watering will cause stem rot and red rust.

Soil Position
|
Prefers a full sun position in well drained soil. Can be grown in a position that receives at least half a day of sun.

Application
|
A more compact bulb that will have multiple stems and more flower buds per stem than the traditional hippeastrums. Excellent for pots and cut flowers.
